Thank You

Dear Parents & Carers,

So this is the end of an era, as Lizzie & Teresa say a truly heartfelt goodbye to Cadeby Lane Stepping Stones. For 24 years we have lived & breathed Stepping Stones, it has not been a job/career, it has been our passion – to provide the very best start in education to each child we have had in our care, which is 100’s, but it has never just been the children, it is the families as well, supporting them on their journeys with us and then onto school, of this we are truly grateful to have shared such special times, never has a day gone by where either of us don’t talk about it, or look for inspiration for new activities, to ensure that each day is full of fun & inspiring things to explore. To see each child’s progress has been a true privilege.

Every day is a new day, no two days have ever been the same, watching the children’s faces in wonder as they lift off the leaves when leaf printing, the joy of them spreading their homemade butter on their toast, the sheer wonder when receiving the magic reindeer dust at Christmas, their delight in seeing the changes in the garden, the absolute pleasure in seeing their smiles as we share stories, listening to all the stories from home – we got to hear it all !! – the list is endless – we thank you for trusting us with your most precious gifts – the children, watching them grow into curious, confident learners has been our mission. In our afterschool, we have continued to support the children & families, watching the amazing transformation as they grow into independent young people. We obviously could not have done any of this without our dedicated staff – we thank you, for sharing our passion in providing a fun, safe,& inspiring environment, it has been privilege working alongside you all.

We know that you will all support Amy as she takes on the setting – we wish her all the very best.

As we turn to a new chapter in our lives, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the amazing memories, we will cherish them forever – thank you for being such a wonderful part of our lives.
